Moriyama, a 29-year-old temporary worker, is terribly lucky with the ladies. Until the day when finally his “Moteki” or “period in which you are suddenly very popular” arrived and now he has to face four beautiful women. It is a fashionable and popular comedy that spawned a recent film. The music of this drama is awesome and gives you a good insight into the popular Japanese rock of the last two decades. The dynamic duo is adored by every law firm and courtroom in Japan. Legal High follows two lawyers with opposing views when it comes to winning legal cases. One of those who make up the incredible team is Kensuke Komikado (Masato Sakai), who loves women, money and fame. He would normally pose as an antagonist in movies and TV shows if it weren`t for his 100% win rate in legal cases and his hilarious comic timing. Her partner Machiko Mayuzumi (Yui Aragaki) is a new lawyer with a strong sense of social justice. After a commercially successful manga and an equally coveted anime adaptation, Great Teacher Onizuka finally received his first television drama treatment in 1998. Eikichi Onizuka (Takashi Sorimachi), a former delinquent turned high school classroom teacher, incorporates his unconventional way of thinking and living into his teachings for a class of troublemakers who are ridiculed by other teachers. Legal High (リーガル・ハイ, Hepburn: Rigaru Hai) is a Japanese television series that aired on Fuji TV from April 2012. It was directed by Junichi Ishikawa and written by Ryota Furusawa.

Legal High was a courtroom drama with comic leanings with two main characters: Kensuke Komikado (Masato Sakai), an intelligent lawyer who has never lost a case, and Machiko Mayuzumi (Yui Aragaki), an aspiring lawyer with a strong sense of justice. It also stars Kotaro Satomi, Junnosuke Taguchi, Eiko Koike, Katsuhisa Namase, Masaki Okada, Haru Kuroki, Ryōko Hirosue and Masato Yano. Here is a list of my favorite Japanese legal dramas (J-dramas that revolve around a law firm, a courtroom, a lawyer, a prosecutor, etc…) Midnight Diner was also adapted from Manga, an anthology series currently airing on Netflix. With a much shorter duration (20-25 minutes) and a non-linear narrative, many fans have cited this heartwarming and slow drama as what they will see while eating. Another reason is the delicious food prepared by the main character. Ultimately, “Ace Attorney” is a very entertaining courtroom drama and perhaps, as many critics have said, one of the best video game adaptations of all time. Backed by superb performances and visuals, this film offers exceptional entertainment and drama, as well as some of the most memorable legal wrangles you`ve ever seen. (Rouven Linnarz) Kano, a former fashion professional, dreams of becoming a high school teacher. What she gets is a job teaching Japanese to a small class of adult foreigners, with the promise that if she leads them to success, she will get the job she has always dreamed of.

The acting is bad. Stereotypes are worse. The class she teaches is unrealistic. But despite these shortcomings, it`s still fun to watch a group of foreigners learn Japanese in the style of Japanese acting. Tsuyoshi died suddenly on New Year`s Eve 1999. However, he woke up four years earlier, in 1995, living in a “groundhog day” situation where he died every time New Year`s Eve turned in 1999 and returned four years earlier. How will Tsuyoshi use his repeated four years and what will happen when he discovers that he is not alone? If you liked the concept behind the movie Groundhog Day, you`ll love this drama. The optimistic Tamura is saved by Sakaeda from being sold into a sex brothel when she falsely agrees to be the guarantor of a friend`s contract and becomes involved in questionable characters. Sakaeda tries to convince Tamura to become a “legal administrator” and join her in a lawsuit against a series of unscrupulous characters they meet. It is a funny and classic comedy that shows an interesting insight into the Japanese legal world (but not the legal world). The similar drama below, filmed about 10 years later, covers similar reasons. Katsuhiro becomes a new legal cleric in order to manipulate the law to save the weak.

With constant rivals and litigation, it offers the public a practical insight into the Japanese legal world and how to fight law with law. For the ladies and gentlemen of the jury: We present you. Some of our favorite courtroom dramas! In a world where justice is increasingly challenged and the search for truth is paramount, we`ve rounded up some of our favorite fantasies in bars. Some are more ridiculous (“Ace Attorney”); some are emotionally overwhelming (“judgment”); and some mix fact and fiction (“Rashomon”). In these explorations of good and evil, we hope that you will come to the same verdict as we do: objective morality is not as simple as it seems. “Sway” is a rare psychological drama, and this one comes from Japan, a country that has accustomed us to unique human situations. It captivates the audience as we watch the trial of Minoru in the courtroom, alternating with prison encounters with many memorable conversations, scenes and twists. However, the main characters` true intentions regarding their feelings and the truth don`t become clear, and it`s really interesting to see how the disciplined and impartial brother suddenly becomes a parasite in Takeru`s heart and gradually grows and torments his conscience. (Kyriacos Kyriacou) As one of the most famous Japanese dramas of 2018, Unnatural is highly regarded for shining a light on cold professions like forensics. He also does not hesitate to show the ruthless side of human nature in the face of the death of his loved ones, but teaches viewers to embrace the passion of life despite everything. Did you know that some of the most successful Korean dramas of recent years have been adapted from Webtoons? Discover them here! The conviction rate for crimes in Japan is 99.9%. This is a drama about a team of defense lawyers trying to find the truth that could have been hidden in the remaining 0.1%.

I have to agree with どうして. Never develop the mindset that you have to wait until your Japanese is good before you can start watching drama. Most dramas rated 1-2 stars can usually be enjoyed at earlier levels.
