BAR EXAM DATES AND REGISTRATION DEADLINES Below is a list of bar exam dates and registration deadlines. As a general rule, the bar exam is always held on the last Tuesday and Wednesday of February and July. A student whose absence from an exam is not excused by the Dean receives a “UWF” grade (unauthorized withdrawal, failure) in the course. To request a deferral of an exam under this rule, the student must complete a deferred exam request form and submit it to the Registrar before the semester deadline. The Assistant Dean or delegate decides at his/her discretion which exam to postpone once the student`s preferences have been determined. Deferred reviews take place on the dates scheduled for deferred reviews during exam periods and take place after the original exam dates. The student must request excused absence from the Assistant Dean prior to the exam. The Vice-Dean should discuss the application with the relevant speaker. It is at the discretion of the Dean to grant or deny the request. There are now three types of examinations.
